Financial Counselling
When you make your initial call for service, our ambulance dispatcher will inform you of the base fees and the estimated waiting time. Please note that the base fee covers only the patient assessment conducted by our ambulance crew and does not include any treatments and/or investigations. Therefore, the base fee is not the final bill.
Our operators are not able to assess a patient’s condition over the phone. For instance, a caller reporting breathlessness may not realize that the patient has an underlying heart condition. In such cases, our ambulance crew will need to perform further investigations at the scene, which may incur additional costs.
On-site investigations play a crucial role in safeguarding patient safety. If any abnormalities are found— even if the patient is asymptomatic —the ambulance crew can standby the hospital. This ensures that patients are given priority treatment upon arrival at the emergency department. In critical situations where findings are life-threatening, we are committed to transporting the patient only to the nearest restructured hospital, equipped to provide the necessary care. Your safety is our top priority.
To provide transparency, you are entitled to financial counseling. After the medical team has assessed the patient’s condition, you will be given an accurate estimate of the ambulance or medical bills. The crew will also explain any treatment costs incurred during the journey to the hospital or while providing care at home.
Insurance Claims
We understand that navigating your ambulance or medical bills and the payment process should not be a source of stress for you or your loved ones.
If you have insurance coverage, most plans include provisions for ambulance fees and treatment costs incurred during transportation to the hospital. To determine the exact amount you can claim for ambulance transportation or home care services, we encourage you to consult your insurance provider for clarification.
